Visiting Dr. Ritch

I'm so glad that my midwife recommended her own childrens' pediatrician when I was searching for the right doctor for my little boy!  Dr. Ritch is always so positive and does such a good job handling Maks each and every time we visit.

Here's the updated measurements from Maksim's 3 month check up:
16.5" head circumference
25.5" tall
16lb 2oz

He remains in the 90+ percentiles for weight and height, while his head is steady at the average size for a baby his age.  Dr. Ritch reports that Maksim appears to be about a month or two ahead of schedule developmentally, which explains the increased about of drooling, mouthing and sticking out his tongue (teeth are on their way!).  He's already started rolling over, so that will continue to become more frequent and consistent in the upcoming weeks.

Our Dr.'s office remains a fun, friendly place as Maks continues to avoid unnecessary blood draws, needle pricks and shots.  We left with a clean bill of health!
